Packington Open Gardens’ Bank Holiday
Monday 25th August 2025 2pm-7pm
This is always a popular event, one which is not to be missed, so we look forward to seeing you on the day! Approximately 10 gardens will be open, together with a History Group display in Holy Rood Church. Cream teas, refreshments and ice-creams will be available at several venues. There will also be stalls, including a book stall, a bric-a-brac stall and a stall selling honey. In addition, the children may partake in a treasure hunt and there will be live musical entertainment, and a quarter peal of bells, all followed by the Village Duck Race in Mill Street – the first race will be at 5.30pm with tickets on sale from 4.30pm.
Passports to the gardens, £5 per adult, accompanied children free, will be available from Measham Road Car Park, the Church, the Memorial Hall or participating gardens. Garden entry proceeds go to the upkeep of this historic village church and duck race proceeds go to charity.
We are very grateful to David Granger Architectural Design Ltd of Ashby-de-la Zouch who are sponsoring our event.
